Leann Sweeney is an American author known for her cozy mystery novels, including the Yellow Rose Mysteries and Cats in Trouble Mysteries. She was raised in Niagara Falls, New York, and attended St. Joseph’s Hospital and Lemoyne College in Syracuse, New York, later earning a degree in behavioral science from the University of Houston. After working in psychiatry and as a school nurse, she dedicated herself to writing fiction full-time. She began taking classes in 1980 and became a member of the Mystery Writers of America and Sisters in Crime. Leann is married and has two adult children and grandchildren.
