Maura Milan is an author renowned for her Ignite the Stars series, which targets a teen audience. She describes the series as a blend of her passion for 90s action films, anime, video games, and Buffy, all encapsulated in one book. Currently, she resides in Los Angeles, California, with her schipperke named Thor. Milan enjoys watching Korean dramas, listening to K-Pop, and relaxing in cafes while sipping matcha lattes. She earned her BA in Film Production from USC and also works in video production alongside her writing career.
